My name is Shakuntala, proud mother of two sons ,retired principal from govt. school .I am retired from job but not from life. I still believe in living life to the full .My being here at this platform shows how keenly I am interested in making my own identity in a world that has retired me. My eyes speak my confidence. Enthusiastic lady who can fight for her rights. Born in Haryana ,feel proud to represent myself as Haryanvi candidate. To spread happiness around is the motive of my life with my charm and charity.

• Your Achievements that makes you feel high.

So far as my achievements are concerned, l have settled my kids in life .They are highly qualified and better settled professionally .Personally l had acquired the position of principal that so many people crave for. l am a proud mother and successful woman.

• Define the true beauty.

.According to me True beauty is internal beauty Your kindness of the heart defines your personality. Superficial things never attract me. I am a nature lover person who sees the beauty behind the scenes. This is my personal opinion

• What makes a complete, healthy and happy family for you?

self discipline helps in making a healthy and peaceful family.calmness of mind , positive attitude towards Life is the mantra of successful family life I have achieved this Target .My family support to be here proves this point.l love my family.

• What is your favourite Idea of Holidaying?

My favourite idea of holidaying is going to a place where there is serenity,love ,stress free life, no competition and free flowing peace.Leh Ladakh is my destination where l would love to be .

• Why you are participating in Mrs India Queen of Substance?

My purpose of participating in this competition is to set a benchmark for all senior citizens who feel that their life came to an end after retirement.I want to be a senior citizen icon to defy age related issues as l firmly believe that age is just a number

• What bothers you most about what is happening in the country today?

l really feel upset when l see around and find that girls are not safe in my country.Every now and then we are getting news of rapes that have become frequent in these subsequent years.This pains me a lot.There is a very big question mark for each one of us who are witnessing this brutal act.Hard to hard punishment should be given to the culprits.

• The Quote or saying that encourages you?

The quote that encourages me is Arise , awake till the goal is achieved .I believe in working hard to reach my destination. you will be amazed to see that this “zazba” is still there in me even at this age

• What is true “Sportsmanship” for you?

l had been a sports person .So l know what exactly is sportsmanship. Continuity , perseverance, firmness ,positive attitude and indomitable will to win.

• If you were selected as a Charity Ambassador what Value addition would you like to make for our Society and how?

if l had been selected as Chaity ambassador ,l would like to work for slum kids who are deprived of education, home for mentally challenged kids whose parents only worry is "what after them". If l could achieve this ,I think this will be the greatest gift to the parents who are worst sufferers
