- A brief about yourself and how you describe your own personality and persona.
I am 41 years old, mother of a teenage boy and have been married for 18 years and still staying strong in my life’s journey. I am driven by my hard work, passion and self-belief. With diverse experiences as a Rubik’s Cube mentor, French Language teacher and Aerial Yoga trainer, I possess a strong spirit of curiosity and eagerness to learn. I believe that I am a catalyst of positive change and a staunch believer in one’s karma. My life mantra is if you believe, you can do it.
- Your Achievements that makes you feel high.
I don’t wait for life-changing achievements to happen. I celebrate my life every day and thank God for a wonderful day that I pass towards the end of the day. However, if I have to mention my achievements then I showed courage to learn a foreign language at the age of 36 when my son was 7 years old. Right after that, I trained myself in a mental sport called Rubik’s Cube followed by Aerial Yoga training. As they say, learning never ends.
- Define the true beauty.
Nothing according to Plato is beautiful in the world of forms. I firmly believe that true beauty lies in things that are not transient. For me, knowledge, character and rationality embody this ideal.
- What makes a complete, healthy and happy family for you?
A happy family is when all your family members share a great bond of love and trust with each other. A family becomes healthy and complete in a supportive environment and a healthy communication.
- What is your favourite Idea of Holidaying?
Holidaying cannot be completed without family and friends for sure no matter which place you are going to. But what excites me more is when I am in the middle of nature like a forest with a campfire, music and dance.
- Why you are participating in Mrs India Queen of Substance?
My dreams are not far-fetched because I believe that I have a strong will to fulfil them. Now, to fulfil those dreams, I need a platform to be in the spotlight. Hence, Mrs India Queen Of Substance pageantry is like a fish’s eye that I need to focus on.
- What bothers you most about what is happening in the country today?
I am deeply concerned by the present situation of adolescents being addicted to technology. Excessive usage of technology reduces their attention spans, hinders their creativity and results in extreme mood swings. Instead of using this time to focus on knowing themselves, they are mindlessly consuming media and draining their brains.
- The Quote or saying that encourages you?
Be the change you want to see in the world by Mahatma Gandhi.
- What is true “Sportsmanship” for you?
A person in any field reflecting qualities of being fair and respectful towards the task given and the other team members.
- If you were selected as a Charity Ambassador what Value addition would you like to make for our Society and how?
I believe that women safety is a pertainent issue in our society. People often interpret it n as a law and order issue. But I believe that we can only cure through societal change. Such change can be brought forth by having a transparent conversation on sex education and teaching the youth of our society about gender equality.
