I strongly believe in hard work.

  • Your Achievements that makes you feel high.
  • Ans.My biggest achievement are my three children who are well settled in their lives. They are humble and grounded adults. Secondly, I have won various sporting and beauty pageants. Professionally, I have earned very well in life too.

  • Define the true beauty.
  • Ans.Well, if you think you are beautiful, then you are definitely beautiful. True beauty is a harmony between inner peace and outer personality. It comes from within, when you are able to strike a balance among all the aspects of your life.

  • What makes a complete, healthy and happy family for you?
  • Ans.For me, a healthy and happy family comprises of people who are there for each other. They should be healthy both from outside and inside which is because of a healthy diet and daily exercise as well as good values and morals. Being happy individually doesn’t create a happy family but rather to be happy together.

  • What is your favorite Idea of Holidaying?
  • Ans.Family, friends and an awesome place. I like to explore various parts of a country. Be it backwaters of Kerela or beautiful streets of Paris, I love to see them all. Being from a foody background, I also love to try new and different dishes in the market. But, according to me the best part is to get to know about new cultures of past and present among so many different countries and religions of the world. India itself being so rich in its cultural depth, always amazes me in some or the other ways.

  • Why you are participating in Mrs India Queen of Substance?
  • Ans. Since all my children are well settled in their respective lives, I thought I would start with the next phase of my life. I think this competition will prove to be a good energy boost for me and the experiences which will come from it will surely be worth it. Therefore, accepting this challenge always seemed like a wise choice.

  • What bothers you most about what is happening in the country today?
  • Ans.Millions of qualified youths jobless in this country. So may young men and women and either unemployed or under-employed which will lead to terrible consequences. The fact that they will not be able to live with dignity and self-respect bothers me a lot.

  • The Quote or saying that encourages you?
  • Ans.“I am going to LIVE till I die.”, by Frank Sinatra, Jazz singer. This quote encourages me to live my life to the fullest. A person gets one opportunity and that’s his/her LIFE and according to me he/she should live it amazingly as much as possible for as long as he/she can and should never stop loving it, not even for a second. I strongly believe in it.

  • What is true “Sportsmanship” for you?
  • Ans.I believe it’s giving your 100% and play by the rules. Giving respect to your competitors for their qualities and strength is also an essential part of it. Winning or losing always comes later as said in Bhagwad Gita. It should always be your focus but not your priority.

  • If you were selected as a Charity Ambassador what Value addition would you like to make for our Society and how?
  • Ans.I would take this opportunity to work towards Women Empowerment. So that women can be part of all the important sectors of our growing economy. Indian women have always done well for themselves in various fields. Our country has been independent since last 70 years but I feel there is a lot of room for more independence for women. Indira Gandhi was one of the first female leaders around the globe and it would be a shame to let India be unfair to women in almost every sector of the society.
