Mrs. S Jain
- A Brief about yourself and how you describe your own Personality and Persona.
Ans.I am Shweta Jain, a full time home maker and a part time wedding planner. I am from Kolkata. I am blessed with two children, a boy and a girl. I believe in staying positive all the time. The qualities I own are confidence, honesty, good communication skills and never giving up attitude. I am a straight forward person. I do not believe in fate but confident of my honest efforts. Likewise victory or failure are the two sides of same coin, both teaches us their respective lessons. My nature is to inspire others and help others to build up their own qualities.
- Your Achievements that makes you feel high.
Ans.Being a home maker, I feel fortunate to have got the exposure of being a part of MIQS. My actual success journey of life has laid its first stone. Undoubtedly being a part of top 40 of MIQS is my biggest achievement till date.
- Define the true beauty.
Ans.In my opinion, True beauty is just not about looks, make-up and clothes. Being beautiful is about being yourself. True beauty lies in being beautiful inside out. A person can be defined as beautiful when he/she owns a pure soul, kind heart and an amazing attitude towards life.
- What makes a complete, healthy and happy family for you?
Ans.Having a family is God’s gift. And being a part of a happy family is like cherry on the cake. But at times I wonder and bother about the things that constitute a happy family. In my opinion a family is considered happy when each member of it has respect for each other, good communication flow among the members , provided space of expressions and scope of self respect and exploration. A quote that defines happy family for me is “A family is not something bounded by relations or age but everything to make them complete”.
- What is your favorite Idea of Holidaying?
Ans.I believe every day can become a holiday by spending some quality time with the family. There is no need to burn the pocket to purchase temporary happiness, but a practical sharing of happiness and sorrow is the purpose of real holidaying. The place can be anywhere, be it a temple, a community hall or the terrace of the house. If we get refreshed, inclined and motivated towards each other after holiday, we can say it was an ideal holiday.
- Why you are participating in Mrs India Queen of Substance?
Ans.I want to win the title and become a role model for the wives, who think winning such titles is not their cup of tea. I want to make a statement that anyone can achieve anything if they are determined. On the other hand winning this title will definitely earn me an identity and will open doors for several opportunities of self growth and learning.
- What bothers you most about what is happening in the country today?
Ans.As a concerned citizen of the country, few things hurt me really. One such issue is rise in child abuse and rapes. It proves how inhuman a human can be. One incident is enough to shatter the faith in system, society and humanity. Think, how helpless a mother would feel on such encounters. The fate of survivors, their pain and trauma cannot be expressed by words. Second issue is blind adoption of western culture and neglecting our own culture. Today in India a person is considered smarter if he can speak English and a person who cannot speak English is considered uncouth. Live-in relationships, which were never a part of Indian culture, are now become general and are poisoning the culture and heritage of our joint society.
- The Quote or saying that encourages you?
Ans.Every human has his own potential and energy to achieve which is most of the time dormant, but when motivated it leads to success. One such motivation and inspiration I get from a very sober idea that is “Sixer can be hit at the last ball”. Human life revolves around hopes and struggles. To win the battle of success, one has to fight till the last supply of resources. At the end what matters are the efforts that brought the success not failures. Failures are never counted but victory trumps.
- What is true “Sportsmanship” for you?
Ans.Sportsmanship is a disciplinary and dynamic word. In my opinion it means encouraging others and bringing out best in them. Sportsmanship includes mutual respect, honest efforts, keeping faith in oneself and courage to be cheerful incase of defeat. It is the key to success. Never give up, stay positive and put in your efforts with all the strength at right time, right place and right way is what defines true sportsmanship for me.
- If you were selected as a Charity Ambassador what Value addition would you like to make for our Society and how?
Ans.I have a vision and program to curb this unpleasant act of Child Abusement. It is in its infancy stage and few suitable steps can tackle it. Some of the remedies include interactions with parents and children and educating them to identify suspects. The cases of child abuse and rapes remain unnoticed in rural and semi rural areas. Hence regular awareness workshops on this issue would be conducted in such areas. Also schools have turned out to be majorly in danger due to the perverts victimizing the kids in schools. Hence workshops and awareness camps would be conducted in schools as well. The workshops would include what is good touch and bad touch, pedophilia and its causes, interacting activities and compulsory moral boosting sessions. The consequences and suffering due to child abuse can be demonstrated with the help of dramas, stage shows and various cultural forms. These would easily convey the message because people tend to remember visual aspects more compared to written documents.
