- Brief about yourself and how you describe your own Personality and Persona.
Ans.An extrovert and happy go lucky kind , my work experience for almost 9 years in completely varied fields like Defense Organisation, Real Estate , Software Company, College, Radio Station and Air Force School, has helped me expand my horizons. An Engineer and MBA (IT) by profession, my hobbies and passion include classical and western dancing, writing, acting, practicing Yoga, making friends and reading. I always feel age is a mere number and it’s your willpower, dedication, hard work and focus that lead you to success. “It is never too late to be what you might have been”- George Eliot.
- Your Achievements that makes you feel high.
Ans.It’s been my pride and pleasure to have served in the prestigious Indian Air Force (IAF) as an Aeronautical Engineer. I have immense respect for the uniform, the uniform personnel and our Nation. The achievements at various stages in one’s life could be countless and so are mine, from being the best NCC cadet to an IAF officer. Accepting new challenges gives me strength and opportunity to move ahead in life, to improve and prove myself at all times.
- Define the true beauty.
Ans.BE-U-TY - Be Yourself Till EternitY, is how I perceive it. True beauty is inner strength of body and mind. It is a person’s character, behaviour, thoughts and reaction to situations that defines how beautiful a person is! Loving, caring, sharing and making the atmosphere positive and fun filled around you can make you the most attractive and beautiful person on this planet Earth.
- What makes a complete, healthy and happy family for you?
Ans.When, great and good communication skills exist. Elders are, respected and traditions and values are, followed. People Agree to Disagree and choose to live together with varied interests. When scolding’s shapes the future of little ones and love makes them a better human being. When food is respected. When mutual feelings are cared for and ups and downs shared. When the faith in Almighty and self exist, that would make a complete healthy and happy family for me. It could be my near and dear ones, my friends, my neighbours or any group for that matter.
- What is your favourite Idea of Holidaying?
Ans.I would certainly like to move away from the hustle and bustle of routine. I would love to meditate and try to explore the ‘Me’ within ‘Myself’. Learning and knowing more about the undiscovered smaller regions around, being closer to nature would be a perfect way of relaxing and rejuvenating for me. I always feel as if life is a book and one must keep learning and travelling to understand its chapters.
- Why you are participating in Mrs India Queen of Substance?
Ans.The word ‘Queen’ is rather attractive and authoritative in itself. Certainly to walk the ramp and wear the most coveted Tiara could be every girl’s secret dream, so has been mine for years. Time and experience made me realised, contesting in this pageant, as ‘Mrs’ would give an opportunity to portray true strength of a woman. Age is no bar to achieve success. The recognition would mean a wider and best platform to contribute towards the betterment of our Nation. My gaze remains fixed to achieve the prestigious ‘Title’ but more so to shoulder the responsibility that comes with it.
- What bothers you most about what is happening in the country today?
Ans.‘Knowledge is Power’, is what I completely believe in. I strongly believe that education is the foundation of the country. When young children are, deprived of education due to social or financial circumstances, it pains me a lot. The right to education for each child needs to be, exercised. We as literate and responsible citizens must support this noble cause. Even if we are able to provide education to at least one under privileged child irrespective of caste, creed, sex and social status am sure we will be a step closer, to lift our country from ‘Developing‘ to ‘Developed’ status.
- The Quote or saying that encourages you?
Ans.“Dreams are not what you see in sleep. They are the things that do not let you sleep”, these lines so well narrated by, respected Late Dr A P J Abdul Kalam, inspires me the most. There are no short cuts to success. The key is patience, perseverance, persistence, hard work, dedication and focus. A certain amount of positive madness is required to carve a niche and achieve the uncommon. To walk on the path of success, it’s the vision and not eyes that matters.
- What is true “Sportsmanship” for you?
Ans.To participate in any event or game, is, I believe the first sign of true sportsmanship. Attempting a task, itself shows the person is strong and determined. Winning, certainly is motivating and would no doubt make me feel on cloud nine. When I win, my behaviour towards my opponent or competitor needs to be humble and encouraging. Similarly, if I do not win, the respect towards my opponent or competitor needs to remain intact and I must urge to do my best in next. This, I believe would reflect the true ‘Sportsman spirit’ and ‘Sportsmanship’ in me.
- If you were selected as a Charity Ambassador what Value addition would you like to make for our Society and how?
Ans.Wow!! Being a ‘Charity Ambassador ‘!! It would not only be a matter of great pride and happiness for me but also the best opportunity to give back to the society. I strongly believe knowledge and education can change the world for better. I would certainly like to promote child education especially for the under privileged children so that they become responsible, wise, healthy and wealthy citizens of our society. I wish, they too, in turn would give back to the society forming a loop of goodness in our country.
